STIMULATION SCHEME AND SOUNDS:

We have worked closely with all sorts of dogs for many years to develop stimulation schemes that are safe and effective. Our stimulation schemes are designed to give you enough choices to find a stimulation level that will work with the temperament of your dog without making the product too complex. We also have developed a tone sound and a buzz sound which can be used for praise, warning, recall or other commands.

SAFETY FEATURES:

We understand that your dog is very important to you and we go to extra lengths to make sure our products won’t harm your dog. We provide an automatic safety cutoff of all stimulation after a button has been held down for 8 seconds. In order to avoid accidental stimulations, there is a no-stim position on most of our products which makes it impossible for the product to stimulate your dog. There is also a specially designed guard to prevent a button from being accidentally pressed. We have specially designed contact points made of stainless steel to avoid any neck irritation issues on your dog.

RANGE:

Our products consistently achieve the specified range. When we say the range of our product is 1 mile, it is 1 mile. Although the range of our products can be adversely affected by topography, foliage and weather, we have designed our products so that they can still be effective in those types of environments.

MULTI-DOG CAPABILITY:

Most of our models can be easily and quickly expanded into multi-dog systems (up to 6 dogs in some models) by just adding receivers. The additional receivers can be matched in the field to the transmitter by simply pressing a button. The transmitters have dials which will allow you to quickly go from one dog to another and the color coded dial matches the collar strap colors so that you always know what dog you are working with.

CONTACT POINTS:

All of our remote trainers use our patented insulated contact points for reliable performance in wet conditions. These contact points are interchangeable (long or short) for different coat thicknesses. The patented contact points are also made from stainless steel to minimize any neck irritation on the dog.

CHARGING SYSTEM:

Our proprietary charging system allows indefinite charging without damage and produces a full charge in two hours. Our charging adapters eliminate the need for a jack or plug on the receiver. We also have battery life indicators on all transmitters and receivers so you know when to charge the system or replace the battery.

FIXED ANTENNA:

All of our transmitters have short (1 1/2" – 2 1/2") fixed antennas so that you don’t have to worry about the antennas breaking off or coming loose when you are in the field. These fixed antennas provide a more consistent range.

ONE HAND USE:

All of our transmitters allow easy one-hand operation without having to take your eyes off your dog so that you can be more precise in the timing of your stimulation.

REMOTE OPERATION OF ACCESSORIES:

Most of our transmitters allow you to remotely operate our accessories through the use of a patented short-range communication system.

The following are just some of the many tests we insist upon to ensure you get the absolute best possible product for your money. And if something does not pass a test, we fix the design until it does.

Button Actuation's
Pressing the buttons multiple times per minute using a pneumatic (air operated) button pusher tested on/off switches. Units are run through thousands of on/off cycles with no change in performance.

Humidity & Temperature
Units are tested at extremely high levels of heat and humidity for days. This extreme humidity and temperature resistance testing ensures that our products can be safely and reliably used and stored even in the harshest of environments.

Chemicals
Various chemicals (tick dip & gasoline for example) are literally applied to the units and let sit for many hours. All units showed no negative effects of any kind from the chemicals applied.

Accelerated Life
Units are rapidly brought back and forth from extreme low to extreme high temperatures. This type of abrupt and extreme temperature change stimulates extended life testing of the products.

Bubble tests for Waterproof design
Units are immersed in water and observed for evidence of any leakage. This test simulates waterproofness at depth.  Units are submerged for extended periods of time under water and then completely disassembled and closely examined for any signs of water leakage or damage.

Prolonged Environmental Exposure
The purpose of this test is to measure the effects of sunlight and all-weather conditions on the plastic. Units are exposed to sunlight and the elements on the roof of a building non-stop for months. Temperatures, during this time, can range from near-freezing right up to the heat of an Arizona desert summer. There were no effects to the plastic.

Drop and Impact
To check impact resistance, units that had previously also been through both accelerated life testing and temperature & humidity testing are then repeatedly dropped from many feet onto a concrete surface, impacting as many surfaces on the units as possible. Afterwards, the units are closely inspected for any damage and / or functional abnormalities.

Paint Can Shaker
To test shake and vibration resistance, units are tested for continuous shock and vibration inside cans on a paint can shaker. The units are vigorously knocked against each other and the sides of the can.

Smaller collars
In fact, when it's on your dog, you could say we made it nearly invisible. It's smaller and lighter than our LS/Lite Series collars, and is designed to better conform to your dog's neck. The collar strap threads around the outside of the unit, making it harder to see, while assuring a more snug, comfortable and reliable fit. The position of the receiver on the strap is fully adjustable, making this the first electronic collar to fit perfectly regardless of the dog's neck size. And now you can position the buckle anywhere you want on the dog's neck.

A genuinely Rugged performer

Level selection is now available right from the transmitter
The real beauty of our new Remote Trainers isn't just skin deep. What makes them more attractive for the trainer is that they are very easy to use. This is because you no longer change intensity contact points at the collar when you want to change intensity levels. These levels are now quickly and easily adjustable by a switch on the top of the hand-held transmitter, allowing for a great range of intensities that can be more conveniently tailored to any situation or dog. Instantly selectable stimulation
On all of our two and three-button models, you still have the capability of instantly selecting low, medium and high continuous or momentary stimulation. No need to glance down at your transmitter to see what button to set, thereby missing an opportunity to instantly correct your dog's behavior. No need for a turn-on plug anymore. You turn the collar on and off at the transmitter. And the built-in LED tells you if the unit is working. No need for a test light either. The LED also tells you when your batteries are low. Now you know that your unit is fully charged before you train.

User-replaceable NiMH Rechargeable Batteries
Both transmitter and collar come with heavy-duty rechargeable Ni-MH batteries that you can replace yourself. No need to lose training time by sending the unit back to the factory for new batteries. And, the unit is a hard worker - operating 40 hours between charges. If you are looking for a rechargeable unit - make sure it incorporates a user-replaceable battery pack. Otherwise you'll be looking at a couple hundred dollars every year or so just for replacing collars. ALL of our collars have user-replaceable battery packs. When the battery finally dies just plug in a new battery pack for $30. What could be easier ?

Tone option standard on the Pro Series
Use the separate button on the transmitter to produce a tone at the collar. Use the tone as a conditioned praise, for range control while hunting, or for other purposes. Your dog can hear the tone when cover or distance make it impossible for him to hear whistles or commands.
