These levels are instantly selectable at the transmitter as
well as a separate Tone option for tone training.

G3 Sport Series
collars retain their popular small pocket-sized transmitters while improving the systems
with many new features including smaller receiver collars and a new fast charging system
(2hrs) with battery life indicator. Tri-tronics collars aren't just good, now they're

Continuous stimulation allows you to control the length of the correction based on how
long you hold the button down.
Momentary stimulation is designed for
delivering a quick pre-set duration of stimulation (less than 1 second) for enforcing
commands the dog already knows and for correcting behavior.

The Sport Combo G3 has three Black waterproof rubber buttons that control the stimulation
and tone features depending on the mode selected.
Basic mode:
The lower button instantly controls 10 levels
of Momentary stimulation. The middle button (with raised nub so you can feel the
difference) instantly controls 10-Levels of Continuous stimulation. The Top button
instantly controls the Non-Stimulation tone feature
Momentary-Priority mode :
The lower button is "Low" Momentary, the
middle button is "High" Momentary and the top button is for the Continuous
stimulation
Continuous-Priority mode :
The lower button is "Low" Continuous , the
middle button is "High" Continuous and the top button is for the Momentary
stimulation. In both Priority
modes the increase from low to
high is gradual and it progresses as you increase the intensity dial. With these two new
modes you can slowly increase stimulation levels as needed to find the ideal level for
your dog without an over correction.
The mode dial can be changed at the transmitter, allowing you to select modes
"on the fly" even while your dog is wearing the collar.

Stimulation levels are controlled using the ISS Dial
(Intensity Selector Switch) in the top right corner of the transmitter. It allows for true
one-handed operation using your right or left hand. You can easily change levels
with your thumb and even use your thumb to press any of the three buttons.
Directly below the ISS dial is the "Dog Selector" dial. This
allows you to select between three color coded positions that match the three collar strap
colors (black, red and blue included in the system) if you decide to
add more dogs.
Smaller and more ergonomically shaped, the G3 transmitter fits your hand better and is
just plain more comfortable to use and carry.
Sure-Grip rubber coating ensures the transmitter never gets slick or
slippery even when wet.
Another new feature is the smaller 1 1/2 inch integrated transmitter antenna. Previous
models used a 3 1/2 inch antenna but lowering the antenna has drastically reduced the
overall size of the transmitter without losing range.

Sport G3 transmitters are
100% fully waterproof and even submersible, these systems are prefect
for training in all kinds of terrain & weather conditions including the
worst of wetlands, rain, sleet and even heavy snow without ever worrying about your
equipment.
Transmitter uses a replaceable 9-Volt battery.
Low Battery indicator tells you when it's time to change or recharge. When the battery
gets low the LED light on the transmitter will start to flash when you use the Continuous
or Tone / BUZZ button. With a fresh battery the light will glow solid when
you press these buttons.
